This property is currently in the mid-stages of renovation, which means there’s still a significant amount that reflects the nostalgic “abandoned 40s motel” vibe. However, we want to assure our guests that we are actively working to improve it every single day, ensuring that each update brings us closer to providing a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

Other areas of this facility are rented for events, and we ask that guests in the Rio room be considerate of other guests who book our space for events.

About this space
The room is situated in an old motel that we recently purchased and are working to revive. We are renovating one room at a time, so please be aware that we are actively remodeling throughout the facility (we strive to minimize noise and disruptions to your stay).
It’s located across from a train that may be bothersome once or twice a night until around midnight. While the facility is somewhat rundown, we are dedicating significant effort to improving the rooms as our top priority.

This is an old motel facility with this room located in the main lodge, which is currently being renovated with ongoing upgrades. A common-use kitchen and TV room are available when the large hall is not booked.
Other areas of the facility are rented for events, and we kindly ask that guests in the Paris room be considerate of other guests who book our space for events.

Access is limited to the room; construction and other areas are still in progress. This facility will have four rooms that can be booked together or separately. Please be respectful of other guests.

The spacious hotel room at FlintRock Retreat features a queen bed, a twin bed, and a pull-out couch.
We invite you to enjoy your stay as we renovate this old motel and bring it back to life. Our newly added hot tub room accommodates 2 and is set up in a private setting for your exclusive enjoyment.
Please note that we are located across the street from a railroad track, so be aware if trains are not to your liking.
This hotel room also includes access to a shared kitchen, recreation room, TV room, and laundry facilities.

Los Lobos Den
About this space
Wolves Den is a small duplex in a bungalow with a kitchenette and bathroom (this is a studio space the rooms are not private from each other). It is across the street from a train that comes through usually before midnight so sometimes you will hear it’s horn blast.
We are renovating the FlintRock Retreat as a family. There are still plenty of areas we haven’t gotten to yet so if you don’t have much patience for on ongoing renovation, please stay elsewhere. Otherwise we’d love to host you!
The space
We purchased this motel as an abandoned property and are bringing it back to life. The property surrounds a courtyard with small fruit trees, basketball court.
Guest access
Our guests are welcome to use all common areas, recreation spaces, hot tub area, community kitchen and guest laundry areas.
Other things to note
This property is in the beginning stages of renovation so there’s lots about it that screams “abandoned 40s motel” but we are actively working to make everything better and better.

The Yellowstone room is in a old 1940s motel that is currently being renovated. This room has a bathroom that connects the Teton room. You can book it as an individual room and the Teton room will stay vacant. Or you can book both of them together. Please look for the room titled “Rendezvous” to book them as a single unit.
Teton
About this space
The Teton room is a small renovated hotel room in a motel built in Shelley before the interstate came to town. Perfectly located as a stop before Teton national Park or Yellowstone national Park. A wonderful “cabin feel” tucked away in an upcoming renovated motel (we are currently working on fixing up the entire place).
You can book the adjacent room, “Yellowstone” that is connected by a bathroom. (that room stays empty when Teton room is booked by itself).
The space
The FlintRock Retreat was an old abandoned motel. We are renovating the facility one room at a time. the grounds and exterior still have much to be desired but we are working hard to bring this tired place back to life.
It is near a train track but so far most of the guests tell us it isn’t too much of a bother.

There is a common kitchen area that is available for all of our guests to use as well as a TV room and rec area.

The Moab room is a themed suite room at the Flint Rock retreat.
My family has been hard at work renovating and bringing this old 40s motel back to life. there is still much to be renovated, but we hope you find the comfort of this room and help us grow in our endeavor to bring the old back to life.

The Moab room is a themed room and does not have a shower. (jetted tub only) We do have a small kitchenette for light cooking.

We have a courtyard with fire pit, barbecue and basketball hoop. We have fruit trees You’re welcome to in season!
